I have been coming here since I was a child. I live in the neighborhood so it's always been a spot. I always get Horchata. My favorite is the burrito. It's something about the cheese that makes it so delicious. I'm also a fan of the chicken tacos the prices on the burgers and the chicken sandwiches are all under five dollars. The bathroom is small but clean and they have an extra back area to sit in.NOTE. ITS CASH ONLY

Came across this place at midnight. We got a torta, burrito and a taco. Let me say the chicken isn't that bad. As I arrive to this place, there already a line. Looks like this is another place where people come to grab a bite. They only accept cash. Street parking.

Stopped in on lunch cause it was close, didn't want Mexican food today so I tried a cheeseburger, fries, and a lemonade. It's a hole in the wall local place with a whole lot of heart. It's cash only which I wish I'd known before going. But that's okay because they had an ATM. The workers move fast and you can tell they've got a system down. The burger was good, plain and simple, what's interesting is it's almost seasoned like Mexican food which makes sense because they're cooking Carne Asada right next to it. It's super decent and only 4 dollars. Fries are fluffy and fresh, a bit greasy and not salted but they're good. Lemonade is the most unique thing I got, it's the perfect balance between sweet and sour and it's fresh. I'll definitely be back if I work over here again.

Pretty good albeit simple taco spot. Avoid the fries, they're greasy & utterly flavorless. The onion rings were actually pretty damn good. I finished them off almost before I got home. The tacos most appealing aspect was the cheese. They're big, cheap & pretty damn good & honestly rank amongst some of the best I've had from a casual/take out establishment. For just under $40 my wife & kid were quite satisfied. I'd be comfortable at saying that 3 tacos is sufficient for any appetite. Lastly if dining in know that the place is small & there's even live singing

The service was quick and amazing. The tacos are delicious and savoring. I drive from NC just to try this place I've been hearing about. The burgers taste like the ones you get if you ever been to Mexico. Not the cheap plastic tat sting ones American food chains have. The horchata was like a mixture of milkshake and smoothie blend.

Totally unassuming place, I saw in an article online they are ranked highly as one of the best tacos spots in Chicago. So I figured I'd go check it out. I went to the location on the south side at Damen & Blue Island. I ordered a pastor taco and ribeye torta. Both items were average. I'd have to say the salsa was not as spicy I would like either. They don't have chips and salsa available, I found that kind of abnormal. Be sure you bring cash as they don't accept credit cards. The ATM in the restaurant is often utilized. Overall, I would say it's a good taco joint, but I didn't agree with the article that said they're one of the best in Chicago.
